The Green Density Walking Tour

Last Sunday, 30 intrepid walkers joined D9N4H and the SF Bay chapter of the Sierra Club for Green Density insights from Precita Park to 16th and Folsom. Led by Tom Radulovich of Livable Cities, and Kate Voshell of D9N4H, the group learned all about the watersheds of the Mission, and observed the benefits of urban greening – including reduced stress on our sewer system, moderation for building scale, and even crime reductions!
Along the way Kieran Farr of the Sierra Club shared augmented reality links that allowed participants to experience the Mission in its (nearly) natural historic state.
